		<description><![CDATA[Perhaps the Gotham City of Batman:TAS takes place on a Caribbean island that has suffered economic sanctions and aborted invasion attempts (remember the Bay of Bats fiasco?) since the Forties. Consequently, the designs of cars in their two auto plants have not developed much past the style of the Forties.

The cell phones, satellite communications, lasers, et cetera are homemade devices by all the creative heroes and super villains populating the island.
