The Postman was “Lovable Truly”, & there was yet another character representing Post’s sweetened puffed rice cereal. This was a stereotypical Chinese child, but I can’t remember the name.

The Lucky Charms leprechaun is always in a state of panic by being constantly hunted, Barney wants to steal Fred’s Pebbles, the Trix rabbit can’t have any cereal, and Cookie Crisp has been covered here before. Why do cereal commercials apparently celebrate thievery and harassment?
